Funeral services for Mr. Waymon Mansfield Roberts, Jr., age 97, of Livingston, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the First Christian Church in Livingston. Bro. James Shenko will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, with military honors provided at the graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Waymon passed from this life on Saturday afternoon at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born at home on January 19, 1929. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, where he worked as an engineer.

He enjoyed talking with friends on his ham radio and spent much of his life as a traveling evangelist, helping anyone he could.

Waymon leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews; special friends, Dan and Jean Ann Mayberry, and Tim and Yvette Emerton; four sister-in law, as well as his church family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Lizzie Ruth Boles Roberts.
