Wayne Anthony Jones, 63, of Cookeville, TN, passed away at his residence on May 29, 2025.

Wayne was born on November 12, 1962, in Rantoul, Illinois. He worked as a meat cutter at his local grocery store, where his skill and dedication made him a valued member of the team. His greatest passion was playing music on the guitar. Outside of work, Wayne enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, and enjoying his favorite video games. He always found joy in these simple pleasures and in the company of those he cared about. Above all, Wayne loved his family and dear friends deeply. His warm heart, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty made him a cherished presence in the lives of many.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Dawn Jones; children, Jesse Jones and wife Kayla, Shawn Micheal, Krystal and husband Justin, and Justin Dean and wife Amber; his mother, Rose Jones; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jones.

Wayne will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life to honor the life of Mr. Jones will held at Fall Creek Falls Eli Fields Pavilion on June 29,2025 at 3p.m.
