Funeral Services for Mrs. Willene C. Thompson, age 71, of Hilham, will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2022, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Ayers will officiate. Burial to follow in the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Friday morning from 11 a.m. until time of services at Speck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Willene passed from this life on Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2022, from the Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Jackson County, Tennessee on March 22, 1950, to the late Mayhue and Effie Phillips Masters. Christian in Faith, Willene had a very kindhearted and easygoing personality. She loved her family, and adored her daughter and grandchildren. Willene also enjoyed gardening, flowers and her wiener dogs Missy and Buckie.
Willene leaves behind her daughter, Angie Thompson King and husband Jimmy of Hilham, TN; sisters, Susie Masters of Hilham, TN, and Juanita Daws and husband Emanuel of Hilham, TN; grandchildren, Joshua, Eli, and Gracie.
In addition to her parents, Willene was preceded in death by her husband Danny Ray Thompson; and brother, Mark Masters.
Pallbearers to serve are Joshua King, Eli King, and Andy Naff.
