In Loving Memory of Mr. Willie Davis Beason, Jr.
March 19, 1936 – May 11, 2025

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Willie Davis Beason, Jr., age 89, of the Okolona Community, will be held July 6, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. at the Joe L Evans Community Center in Livingston Tn. Military honors will be provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard at 3p.m.

Mr. Beason passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County in Algood, Tennessee. He was born at home in the Willow Grove Community on March 19, 1936, to the late Willie Davis Beason, Sr. and Florene Dennis Beason.

A graduate of Clay County High School, Willie served honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the Church of Christ. He spent much of his life on the road as a long-haul truck driver—a career that suited his hardworking spirit and love for travel.

Willie had a deep passion for collecting guns and knives, and he never missed a good Western on television. His quiet strength, unique sense of humor, and love for his family left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Leta Johnson and her husband David of Gallatin, TN; granddaughters, Melinda Cunningham and husband Shane of Cookeville, TN, Amber Johnson-Hollenbaugh and husband Eric of Marietta, GA, and Cindy Marshall of Celina, TN; great-grandchildren, Jack Cunningham, Lilly Cunningham, Nicholas Johnson, Zachary, Atticus, and Abigail Hollenbaugh; brother, Jerry Beason; and sisters, Sharon Beason-Phillips and Sherry Pyle.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, his great-granddaughter Malia Marshall, his sister AlmaLee Fletcher, and his brother John Beason.

Though he has left this world, his legacy of love, dedication, and strength will continue to live on through those he cherished most.
