Funeral Services for Mrs. Willo Dean Hagins, age 71 of Rickman, will be held 12 noon Thursday, October 8th, from Life Church in Cookeville where she will lie in repose from 11 am until the time of services. Bro. Richard Hazelbaker will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 pm from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.
Willo Dean (Hammock) Hagins, 71, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning, October 6, 2020. She was surrounded by her children and husband of 29 years.
Willo Dean was born on November 27, 1948, on her family's farm on Highland Mountain in Livingston, Tennessee. She was the youngest of eight children of Jeff and Myrtle (Gore) Hammock. Dean was a member of The Life Church in Cookeville, Tennessee. She loved to spend time with family and travelling.
Willo Dean leaves behind her husband William Hagins of Rickman, TN, her daughter Tammy Cook and husband John of Allardt, TN, sons James Cooper and wife Socorro of Cookeville, TN, and Richard Cooper of Rickman, TN, grandchildren Zachary Cook, Alexander Cook, Shelbie Edmonds, Bradley Cook, Dakota Cooper, Carman Cooper, Logan Cooper, Bella Cooper, Lillie Hutchinson, Zoe Cooper, Sadie Cooper, great grandchildren Gracen Cook, Theodore Cook, Elijah Smith, Liam Edmonds, Jasper Brown, Deborah Edmonds, sister Carlene Poston, brother C. Hammock, 5 step-daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Shirley Curtis of Rocky Mountain, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Jeff Hammock, mother Myrtle (Gore) Hammock, sisters Ann Moore, Johnny Walker, brothers Carlos Hammock, Douglas Hammock, and B. Hammock.
