Graveside services for Mrs. Gladys Geneva "Gen" Coffey, age 62, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Oakley Cemetery on Highland Mountain Road, with Bro. Nolen Cantrell officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the graveside to honor her life and memory.

Mrs. Coffey passed away on the morning of Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Livingston Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 28, 1962, in Livingston, Tennessee, the beloved daughter of the late Clyde Junior and Mable Wilson Cantrell.

A proud 1980 graduate of Livingston Academy, Gen was a dedicated entrepreneur, owning and operating the cherished fruit stand on East Main Street for many years. She was known for her love of shopping, her appreciation for the beauty of roses in all colors, and her talent for home remodeling, which brought her immense joy and satisfaction.

Gen is survived by her loving family, including her son, Clyde Coffey and wife Amy of Livingston, TN; her grandchildren, Haleigh Coffey and Kelsey Beaty, both of Livingston, TN; and the father of her son, Jimmy Coffey and wife Toby, also of Livingston, TN. She is fondly remembered by her dear friends Frank Pigg of Livingston, TN, and Della Carden of Allons, TN.

In addition to her parents, Gen was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Coffey, and her granddaughter, Nora Coffey.

Gen will be remembered as a kind-hearted and resilient woman whose legacy of love, strength, and warmth will continue to inspire all who knew her.
