Funeral services for Mr. Willie Qualls, age 79, of the Liberty Community will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Nolan Cantrell and Bro. Eugene McCowan officiating. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.
Mr. Qualls passed from this life on Wednesday evening, August 24, 2016 at his home. He was born September 7, 1936 in Overton County to the late Walter Lee and Lena Smith Qualls. He was a farmer.
He attended Second Freewill Baptist Church. Willie enjoyed working and being on his tractor, trading knives, hunting, and fishing. His favorite thing of all was working on the farm.
He is survived by 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Gail & Darrell Flowers of Livingston and Renae & Eddie Martin of Rickman; his special friend, Edith Smith; 4 grandchildren, Kim Montgomery & husband, David of Monterey, Rusty Flowers & wife, Becca of Livingston, Billy Qualls of Cookeville, and Will Martin of Rickman; 10 great-grandchildren, Madye, Matthew, & Logan Montgomery, Amelia & Liam Flowers, and Gracie, Amara, Abby, Sadie & Noah Qualls; and a daughter-in-law, Tammy Qualls of Cookeville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Eva Nell Linder Qualls, sons: Danny Qualls & Donny Qualls, grandson: Bobby Qualls, and 2 brothers: Glen Qualls & Harlis Qualls.
Pallbearers to serve are Brian York, Donald Flowers, Neil Montgomery, James Robbins, Mike Hall, and Larry Misenhimer.

Gail Darrell, Donald I are extremely sorry for your loss. We want all of you to know that the entire family is in our thoughts and Prayers. I pray that GOD will give all of you comfort peace to see you through this time of grief and sorrow. We plan on trying to come sometime Sat. if Donald feels like it. He couldn't picture who Willie was in his mind until I showed him Willie's picture then he knew who he was. If for some reason we don't get to come I want you two to know that we are thinking Praying for you all. If there is anything at all that I can do just let me know.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Willie. He will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched encouraged and blessed. Pray God will surround you with His comfort strength understanding and peace in the coming days. Thinking of all of you in Christ's love. God bless and keep you.
