I was shocked and very sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. My son, Brian, was one of her students during the time she taught at Independence. She was always very complimentary of my stories in the newspaper, especially the one I did with the help of her Uncle Kenneth Jolley titled "Growing Up On Jolley Creek." I extend my sympathy to her family during the weeks to come. I know her presence will be greatly missed. Emily Sells
